• Hops: Kohatu, Taiheke, Wakatu, Wai-iti

Not many craft breweries do interesting Lagers.

Generally the more exciting hops are reserved for the pale ales and IPAs, but there’s no reason you can’t make a hoppy pale lager, or even an IPL. Renn Blackman developed a passion for Lager while brewing in the UK, and he’s brought that passion to his brewery in the surf coast town of Torquay.

The can in your hand is a Lager. And it’s happy, juicy, refreshing and sessional. Enjoy!
