“The Trevor” Marmalade ESB
- 5.2% ABV, 35 IBU
- Hops: Mandarina, Bramling Cross, Mosaic
- Malts: Marris Otter, Cara Malt, Wheat, Crystal
- Extras: Dried Orange Peel, Orange Pekoe
Nothing is more English than orange marmalade on toast. I guess the Union Jack and Queen Lizzie probably spring to mind a little more quickly but marmalade is pretty high up there at least.
So when we teamed up with Red Duck to make this Extra Special Bitter [ESB) we decided to continue the English theme. After all, Red Duck have always done English beers well. Oh, and before you ask which brand of marmalade we used for the brew, we made it ourselves from dried orange peel and a little orange pekoe.
